Spiritual Treatment Based On The Word Of God - Click Here
Our Five-Point Treatment Plan is both an intensive and complete program for the healing and development of Christian families with troubled loved ones. We address specific areas of life through the components that make up our Spiritual Treatment Plan:
(My Mind, Will and Emotions)
(My Relationships with Others)
(My Relationship with Myself)
(My Relationship with God)
(My Ability to Overcome)
One-On-One Therapy
These individual sessions are at the heart of our success, and take place during frequent intervals in informal settings. We believe it is next to impossible to break off defense mechanisms and open hardened hearts within a clinical setting. It is for this reason that our mentors and pastoral counselors take a personal interest with each student, fostering trust and building relationships.

Each day, our staff works together and as a team with each client. Each week, our staff meets together to discuss each client's progress and to plan an individualized program for their remaining sessions with us. This level of intensive care is extremely hard to find. There is a tremendous benefit in having a team effort in providing treatment, as we are able to pool knowledge, wisdom and experience as we discuss how to best help students achieve success.
Throughout the addiction recovery industry, there is a belief that addiction is an incurable disease. In fact, it is often said, "Once and addict, always an addict." This belief results in a life-long attempt to manage the addiction rather than seek to permanently cure it. The mental health industry treats the surface effects of addiction through psychotropic medication, rather than seeking out true healing of root causes.
The Bible teaches that the sins of the fathers are passed down through generations. This supports the idea that the curse and disease of sin can be passed down. However, Christ became a curse on the cross in order to redeem us, and He healed "all manner of disease." We believe that a recovering addict is a new creation in Christ and has no need to confess that they are current addicts, rather former addicts.
Physical Fitness & Recreation
Our physical fitness program includes indoor and outdoor sports such as volleyball, basketball, swimming, hiking and more. Good physical condition is essential to good health. For those who have been involved in abusing their bodies through drug and/or alcohol use, many have become physically deteriorated. It is a welcome change to begin to feel strong again, and it is a great self-esteem booster.
Limited Enrollment
We accept only a limited number of people into our program at any one time. It's easy to get lost in a crowd. In programs where there are sixty, seventy, eighty, or sometimes even a hundred other clients, individual treatment near impossible. At Second Chance, the students and their families are always important, and the focus of our attention. Students do not slip through the cracks nor go unnoticed; each individual gets our full love and attention.
Second Chance™ is not a Residential Treatment Center. Second Chance is an outpatient program. Contact Hope For Teens for additional professional placement services.
